Brilliant light yellow with greenish tints and a lively nose, with hints of citrus, white stone fruits, pear and hints of oak. Rounded and mellow on the palate, crisp and well structured with superb length and balance.
The grapes were grown in 220ha of privately owned vineyard situated at an altitude of 620-710m on well drained sandy clay soil over limestone. They were manually harvested in 15kg baskets followed by destemming, optical grape sorting and light crushing. Skin contact took place for 4-8 hours, with fermentation in cooled stainless steel tanks with cooling jackets. The wine was kept on the lees for four months with regular stirring.
