A richer style of vinho verde, showing notes of the lees against taut and exotic citrus fruit flavours.
This particular vinho verde comes from vineyards on Portugal's Atlantic coast, planted to a density of 3500 plants per hectare, trained to single cordon Royat as well as traditional pergolas. The grapes were harvested by hand during the second week of September.
After a gentle pressing the juice was fermented in concrete vats then aged on its lees before bottling.
