Ripe lemons, apples and subtle toasty-oak notes are complemented by hints of vanilla and butter. The palate is full-bodied and creamy with pleasant acidity and a touch of honey on the finish.
The graves come from the Fojaneghe estate, which lies at 300 metres above sea level in the communes of Mori and Isera. The soil is mostly basalt and limestone. Breezes from Lake Garda bring useful temperature variation from night to day and provide excellent ventilation.
The graves were pressed and fermented in new French oak barrels at 17°C with weekly bâtonnage and matured in the same barrels for ten months.

The noble Bossi Fedrigotti family settled in Trentino in the early fifteenth century, and made their first wine in 1697. After a seemingly quiet couple of centuries, in 1961 they produced a startling innovation - Fojaneghe, Italy's first Bordeaux blend. In 2007, the family began a collaboration with Masi, who now distribute the wine as well as offering technical support. The Fojaneghe blend remains the flagship while the range also features blends of local varieties Traminer, Marzemino and Teroldego, each contributing its own take on the perfumed, structured Trentino style.
