Nadine Ferrand Pouilly-Fuissé 'Prestige' comes from a tiny 3.5 hectare parcel of old vines. The wine is aged in 30% new oak, giving refined exotic aromas of apricot, vanilla, acacia and white pepper. On the palate it is full-bodied and well structured, making it a good potential candidate for bottle age.
Domaine Joblot Givry 'En Veau' Blanc Vielles Vignes is a full-bodied white burgundy, made from 100% Chardonnay from the estate's oldest south-facing vineyards. Half was fermented in new French oak barrels and half in 1 year old barrels. The various parcels were then blended and aged for 12 months in barrique, giving an intense, creamy, buttery wine.
