With wonderful purity, this crystalline champagne exudes subtle aromas of citrus fruit, white flowers and almonds. Fresh and silky on the palate, with exquisite mineral notes and finesse on the finish.
The grands terroirs of the Montagne de Reims are central to Champagne Palmer & Co's wine philosophy, encompassing over 200 hectares across seven iconic crus, all facing north. This cuvée comes from the two Premier Crus of Trépail and VillersMarmery, which are highly reputed for their Chardonnays with citrus, mineral, and floral notes.
Cellar master Xavier Berdin skilfully blends varieties, growths and reserve wines with harmony and passion, until the perfect balance is reached: the epitome of the Palmer & Co. style. The Chardonnay grapes were carefully hand-harvested, and vinification took place in the traditional method. This cuvée was composed of a high proportion of reserve wines, typically 30-35%. It was then bottle-aged for four to five years on the lees, in the 18-metre-deep chalk cellars which imbued the wine with incredible complexity. Dosage 6-g/l.
