Château Lestrille Capmartin Bordeaux Supérieur 2014
A medium-bodied Bordeaux showing concentrated fruit aromas backed by delicate woody notes. In the mouth is has good freshness, while the structure shows high quality tannins. Nicely balanced, velvety and powerful.
The vines are cultivated according to "la lutte raisonnée", using sustainable agricultural methods and reducing the amount of chemicals in order to respect the land and its environment. The vines are grown in clay and silt soils.
The grapes were picked at optimum maturity and carefully selected. Fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Bottling took place after 18 months.

Château Lestrille is located at the northern point of the Entre-deux-Mers appellation in the small town of St. Germain du Puch between Libourne and Bordeaux. The estate is certified with the High Environmental Value (HVE Level 3) and Estelle believes the essence of winemaking lies in the vineyard itself; placing considerable emphasis on respecting the balance of the soil. Each plot on the 45 hectare property is vinified separately with tailor-made precision.
