New product
High aromatic intensity with initial hints of mineral, violets and ripe red berries. Notes of Indian ink and subtle nuances of new oak, tobacco and breadcrumbs. In the mouth, a silky attack, fresh with a velvety, full mouthfeel.
The Finca Antigua single estate vineyard is situated between the provinces of Cuenca and Toledo at an altitude of 900 metres. The vineyard has loam soil with high limestone content. Grapes were picked in the fourth week of September.
The juice was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Maceration lasted for nineteen days, after which the wine was aged for ten months in American oak casks.

In 1998, Familia Martínez Bujanda decided to look for somewhere to build a new bodega. They settled on the best, highest-altitude area of La Mancha DO, and acquired a 1000 hectare estate, with 421 hectares under vine. Named after the old vines already growing there, Finca Antigua combines the latest technology and time-honoured winemaking traditions with stunning results.
