More info

A generous array of fruity flavours comes from grapes grown in the very best terroirs of the region, which enjoy optimum sunshine and low rainfall. The vines are grown in the region's coolest areas, which are situated at altitude and this helps to showcase the complexity of this grape variety. The vines are green harvested in June and produce an average yield of 25 hectolitres per hectare. The grapes are picked in late September, when they have reached optimum maturity.

The grapes were destemmed before being placed into vats for a maceration that lasted approximately 10 to 15 days. Pumping-over extracted the desired levels of colour, aromas and fine tannins prior to pressing. The wine was vinified in the traditional manner and was then partially matured in 225 litre barrels adding subtle complexity, before being bottled.
