Golden Grape Wooded Chardonnay is medium-bodied with great fruit intensity and texture, and soft acid on the finish. The nose shows a great mixture of citrus, white stone fruit, some oak spice as well as just a hint of complexity.
The Hunter Valley is one of Australia's best known wine regions. Located in the state of New South Wales, the region has played a pivotal role in the history of Australian wine as one of the first wine regions planted in the early 19th century.
Golden Grape's Chardonnay is ‘wooded’ or ‘oaked’ in small French Limousin Oak barrels, maximising the leeching or infusion of the wine with vanilla and oak flavours.
