This young, fresh wine is rich in flavours of citrus, pineapple and stone fruits. It finishes long with a pronounced mineral presence and a delicate hint of wood.
The grapes come entirely from the estate vineyards surrounding the winery, where vine varieties are matched to each individual plot to maximize the quality of the raw material. They were picked by hand in early March, at three stages of ripeness.
The fruit was whole-bunch pressed and the juice allowed to settle. Thirty percent was fermented in French oak barrels, the rest in stainless steel. After six months on lees, the wine was blended and bottled.

The magnificent Haras de Pirque estate occupies a privileged position at the foot of the Andes, in Chile’s Maipo Valley region. The lovingly tended vineyards are on largely north-facing slopes, from the middle of which rises a unique horseshoe-shaped gravity-flow winery, inspired by the estate’s other claim to fame: as an internationally renowned thoroughbred breeding farm. The wine side of Haras de Pirque is now owned by Italy’s Antinori family, their chief winemaker Renzo Cotarella bringing his own elegant sensibility to bear while respecting the character of this very particular terroir.
