A crisp and lively dry white with distinctive notes of ripe citrus fruits and a hint of almond through to a refreshing finish.
Veneto is a wine region in the north-eastern corner of Italy. Many of the vineyards are relatively flat and fertile, so vineyard management is required to manage the yields in order to concentrate the flavours. The vines are planted with a sunny orientation and gentle coastal breezes from the Adriatic Sea help to keep the vines dry and healthy. The Alps help to protect the vineyards from cold, northerly winds. Warm days and cool nights offer the perfect combination to allow slow maturation of the grapes, maintaining beautiful balance between natural acidity and sugar levels. The vines are grown in chalky soils which are valued in viticulture for their excellent drainage. This, combined with the subsoil's ability to store water, provides the vine with a continuity of the right amount of water supply.
The grapes were destemmed and gently pressed. Fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts. The wine was kept in tank until bottling, to preserve the integrity of the primary fruit aromas and its fresh and zesty style.
