Il Sacrato Sangiovese Merlot Rubicone is a fresh, berry-scented red blend from Emilia-Romagna, in the north-east of Italy. The Sangiovese shows a lovely perfume, medium weight and persistence and combines well with the berried ripeness of the Merlot. A medium weight wine with good depth of flavour and a soft round finish.
Based in Emilia Romagna, Gruppo Cevico is the second biggest Italian wine producer, representing 18 wineries and with over 6,700 hectares under vine. Until four years, it was a shareholder of GIV and is Italy's fastest-growing wine company.
