A spectaular Chablis that punches way above its weight in terms of complexity and depth. The vivid aroma of honey, candied peel and warm stones continues into the dynamic, multi-layered palate, which finishes long and mineral-citrusy.
This wine comes from an 11-hectare certified biodynamic plot in the village of Préhy, with Kimmeridgian soils facing south-west. The vines are 30 years old.
Following gentle pressing, the juice fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with natural yeasts. The wine was then aged on lees until bottling.

Julien Brocard is the son of Jean-Marc, one of the best-known growers in Chablis. As well as taking the reins of the sizeable family firm, Julien also produces a range of limited-production wines under his own name. Having first challenged his father’s scepticism by introducing biodynamics on one parcel of Chablis, La Boissonneuse, in 1998, Julien launched his full range of biodynamic wines in 2012.
