Koster Wolf Riesling Kabinett Halbtrocken Flonheimer Rothenpfad is a mineral-scented off-dry Riesling from Germany's Rheinhessen region. Still in its youth, this fine Riesling shows flinty, lime aromas, with a rounded yet refreshing palate. This is above all a food wine; a perfect partner for Thai cusine or fish cooked in rich sauces.
Claus and Barbel Wolf run this 33 hectare estate in the village of Albig, in the heart of Germany's Rheinhessen region. The Rheinhessen is the source of some of Germany's best-value white wine, and has been at the forefront of Germany's revolution in wine quality over the last decade.
The Flonheimer Rothenpfad vineyards occupy just 2.5 hectares of the estate. The wine is cool fermented to capture the freshness of Riesling.
