A delicate, pale, yet fruity rosé, with the attractive aroma of wild berries and a crisp, refreshing palate brimming with strawberry and plums.
Situated in the neighbourhood of Béziers, not far from the Mediterranean sea, partly along the Canal du Midi, the 1,200 hectares of vines belong to the two hundred members of Cers Portiragnes co-operative and benefit from the southern French climate. The vineyards are between fifteen and twenty-five years old and the grapes were harvested in the cool of the early morning to preserve freshness.
Grapes were directly pressed with the final pressing separated. Fermentation took place at low temperatures with further ageing in stainless steel vats for two months on fine lees before bottling.
