A bright and fine example of Grecanico Dorato, with a distinctive minerality combined with wild mountain fruits, citrus characters and a hint of pineapple. Dry, with a balanced acidity and gentle fruit on the palate, this elegant and harmonious wine has a lovely lingering finish.
Millesumare Sicilia Bianco DOC is made with grapes of Grecanico Dorato from one of the highest vineyards in Europe, located at an altitude of 1100 meters above sea level on the northwestern slope of Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, and situated in an unspoilt area among ancient lava, woods and small orchards.
The lava structure of the soil bestows strong volcanic and mineral notes on this wine, whereas the extreme temperature fluctuations at this kind of altitudes give it its aroma and scents. A completely local product, from the vineyards to the yeasts employed in the fermentation process, the result of an accurate selection of grapes starting with the manual harvest.
Straw yellow with refined golden reflections, bright, fine on both nose and palate, highly volcanic, with strong scents of mountain fruit and a slight pineapple note.
