A lively and fresh Chardonnay with aromas of pears, green apples and pineapples. A well-balanced palate with abundant fruit notes and fresh acidity.
The grapes come from the Maule Valley, one of the oldest grape growing regions in Chile. The vines are planted in low-fertility, granitic soils, which give adequate yields whilst still producing fruit with intensity and good concentration of flavour.
The grapes were gently pressed and decanted at low temperatures to obtain a very clean must. Fermentation took place with selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks at 14ºC. The wine was held on its fine lees until bottling to preserve the fresh fruit flavours and bring added volume to the palate.
