A Sauvignon with lively aromas of citrus fruits, gooseberries, peaches and green apples, harmoniously combined with notes of grass and herbs. The fresh, fruity palate has a balanced body and refreshing finish.
The grapes come from the Yerbas Buenas sector of the Andean foothills, in Chile’s Maule Valley. The soils are sandy clay-loam of alluvial origin with some gravel. The vineyards’ proximity to the mountains generates a microclimate that ensures the production of very fresh and highly aromatic grapes.
The grapes were gently pressed and the juice decanted at a low temperature to obtain a very clean must. Fermentation took place with selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks at 10º–12ºC, following which the wine was held on its fine lees until bottling to preserve its freshness and bring added texture to the palate.
