Fresh and charming nose with notes of citrus, pastry. Beautiful length and elegance on the palate with aromas of white fruit, well balanced with floral notes, brioche and minerality.
This stunning Champagne was crafted from vineyards of the Sanger school, in Grand Cru Avize, the heart of Côtes de Blancs and made by Champagne Sanger, founded in 1952 by 16 growers, mainly from the Montagne de Reims, to highlight the Champagne terroir. Based in Avize, it spans 13 hectares across 42 crus. Grapes are manually harvested only from the estate owned plots in Avize, Oger and Cramant on Avize limestone terroir. Sustainable viticulture conforming to the estate’s HVE certification.
30% of the wine has not undergone any malolactic fermentation, resulting in a preserved natural freshness. The grapes are vinified by parcel and the wine aged for 6 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks. Once in bottle for the second fermentation, the wine is aged for 48 months. Dosage is low at 6 g/litre and the base wine is 2018 with around 30% of reserve wine.
