Lightly oaked and perfectly balanced, with a silky texture and crisp edge. The nose is cram-packed with mulberries, blackberries and anise. On the palate black cherry and raspberry fruit tones with creamy and chocolatey oak flavours.
The grapes come from 30 to 50 year old vines planted on granite and clay. They were hand-harvested in the last week of September.
After twenty-four hours’ cold maceration, the must was fermented in stainless steel over the course of twelve days. Following malolactic, it was transferred to French and Portuguese oak barriques for six months’ ageing.
Decanter, Gold Medal: "An intense jammy bedrock of blueberry and damson offset with a lively herbaceous and white pepper lift; succulent and juicy with a long, refreshing finish. Stunning!"

| Winemaker | Natalia Jessa |
Natalia Jessa is on the forefront of becoming the new face of Portuguese wines and one of the hardest working people around. Having relocated to Portugal for love from Poland via Ireland to Oporto, Natalia Jessa has really taken grasp of what is virtually an underserved market for inexpensive and incredibly delicious Portuguese wine. She says it herself in the most adorable broken Portu/Polish English accent: “Drink it, don’t overthink it.” Her wines over-deliver in a BIG way.
Having been a buyer at one of England's top food and wine markets, Tesco, for years where she studied wine through WSET, when she arrived to live in Portugal, Natalia developed her own distribution company to fulfil the needs of her various employers and clients over the years. She quickly recognized an opportunity to collaborate with some of the country’s best vintners to bottle lovely expressions from wineries in each region, using only local varieties. Natalia leverages long standing relationships and vineyard knowledge in each region where she orchestrates the entire production in conjunction with a “winemaker on the ground”. Each local expert friend helps Natalia source the most organic grapes from the best soils for each native grape variety within each region. These wines are very unique and true to place.
