This dry, vibrant and zesty Riesling has intense aromas of lime, white flowers, stone fruit and wet stones. The well balanced palate combines intense citrus flavours with a hint of spice, leading to a long and refreshing finish.
The grapes for this wine were harvested from vineyards in both east and west Kelowna, all of which are over thirty years old. Both early and late picked grapes are used, to give a broader spectrum of fruit flavours. All of the grapes were harvested by hand.
Following whole bunch pressing and racking, the majority of the must underwent a long, cool ferment in stainless steel tanks, lasting four weeks, but fifteen percent was fermented in barrel.

Quails’ Gate can trace its origins back to 1908 when the Stewart family first settled in the Okanagan Valley, although the family planted vines for the first time in 1961 and the winery itself was only founded in 1989. Since then Quails’ Gate has become one of the leading producers of premium wines in British Columbia and under current CEO Tony Stewart the founding family remain committed to the project. The winery has over seventy hectares under wine, which are farmed with a focus on sustainability.
