New product
A concentrated Pinot Grigio with aromas of ripe pear, grapefruit and pineapple. Poised, medium-bodied palate with a silky, refreshing finish.
The vines are grown on terraces at 80-200 metres above sea level, with exposure varying from east to south-west. The age of the vineyards ranges from ten to thirty years, and the soil is a mixture of loam and sandstone. The vineyards benefit from a sub-Mediterranean climate with a mixture of warm sea air and the influence of cold winds from the Alps. The grapes were harvested exclusively by hand.
The wine was fermented at 14ºC in stainless steel tanks with six months’ lees ageing. No oak maturation or malolactic fermentation took place, in order to preserve freshness and purity.

The Klet Brda Winery is the leading producer and exporter of Slovenian bottled wine. The winery unites 400 families, who have been working together for over fifty years and have turned local winemaking into a success story.
Viticulture is the way of life in Brda - almost every family living here cultivates a small vineyard, on average 2 to 3 hectares, located on steep hillsides with no possibility of irrigation or machine work.
The Quercus wines are made a stone’s throw from the vineyards of Collio. Goriška Brda is Slovenian for Collio Goriziano, and while these hills may be divided by a political boundary, viticulturally they are one and the same.
