Cruel Mistress Pinot Noir Ad Hoc, from the Great Southern region of Western Australia, is modern in presentation (the tongue-in-cheek note reads "hints of lipstick and leather!") But inside the bottle, this is a sappy, refined Pinot, with lovely cherry, red fruit aromas and a soft, velvety palate vibrant acidity.
Ad Hoc Middle of Everywhere Frankland River Shiraz, from Western Australia, is aged for 8 months in 30% new and 2-year old French oak barrels. Aromas of blueberries, gentle spice and white pepper. On the palate, soft berry fruit and nuances of aromatic spices of cinnamon and nutmeg. Medium bodied, with a persistent finish.
