Fresh, fruity and dry with nice weight and a hint of spice and lemon on the finish.
The vineyard is made up of chalky soils, which provide good drainage for the vines, as the vine roots can easily penetrate this soft soil, while at the same time retaining sufficient moisture for nourishment.
The grapes were destemmed, pressed and immediately vinified. Fermentation of the must took place with selected yeasts, in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, which retained the fruit flavours and freshness of the Pinot Grigio. The wine was kept in tank until bottling.
Cantina Sacchetto is located in the heart of the Veneto region. Founded in 1920, today it is run by Filiberto Sacchetto, alongside his son Paolo and daughter Beatrice. Together they oversee all aspects of the winemaking process, with attention, passion and great flexibility, combining tradition with innovation. In 2022 Sacchetto was awarded the Equalitas Certification which officially recognises social, environmental and economic pillars of sustainability, through biodiversity, carbon and water footprint and ecological cultivation practices. Through innovation and investment in modern vinification techniques, the family produces stunning still and sparkling wines for which the Veneto region has become famous.
