More info

Sugrue-Pierre is the personal project of celebrated English sparkling winemaker Dermot Sugrue. Sugrue has been the winemaker behind many of England's best sparkling wines over the last 10 years. Previously the winemaker at Nyetimber, he left in 2006 to establish the Wiston Estate Winery with the Gorings of West Sussex. The same year he also planted a 1 hectare vineyard in Storrington which has been in full production since 2009.

In October 2021 Decanter wrote: "Aromatic appeal: brioche, apricot, lemon tart. Honeyed flavour, macadamia nut and broad toasty notes balanced by fresh citrus and stone fruit hints. Delicious."
