Platinum medal for Alsace Gewurztraminer

Overlooking the city of Turckheim, the Brand de Turckheim vineyard covers about 58 hectares facing south-south-east on granite soils at an altitude of 250 to 380 metres.

Dopff's Grand Cru Brand of Turckheim vineyard compriises just 3.26 hectares, mainly planted with Gewurztraminer. with an average age of 33 years (in 2020).

Winning 97 points and a Platinum medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards, the judges wrote of the Gewurztraminer Brand de Turckheim Grand Cru:

"An exuberant wine with intensely aromatic lychee, pineapple and rose petal. Rich and intense on the palate with energetic acidity and deep complexity. Warming spice on a powerful long finish. Extremely classy wine."
