La Fleur d'Or Sauternes half bottle 2022

La Fleur d’Or is made by Bordeaux-based Sauternes expert Bill Blatch. Since 1995 Bill has used his enviable list of contacts to buy top-notch parcels of wine, the best of which make it into this classic blend. La Fleur d’Or is only made in superior vintages.
The grapes for this wine came from a number of vineyards in the Sauternes appellation, predominantly the commune of Barsac. One hundred percent of the fruit was affected by noble rot.
Twenty-five percent of the blend was fermented in barrel, the rest in tank.
