More info

The grapes come from ten-year-old vines planted on clay and limestone soil terraces in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The vineyards were harvested at relatively low yields of fifty hectolitres per hectare.

Following a one week pre-fermentation cold soak, alcoholic fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Twenty-five percent of the wine was then aged for six to nine months in oak barrels.

Badet-Clément

Badet-Clément is a forward thinking producer, founded in 1995 by Laurent and Catherine Delaunay, two winemakers of Burgundian origin. Whilst they are still based in Nuits-St-George, they have become increasingly known for their pioneering work in the Languedoc where they produce modern and attractively packaged wines that offer fantastic value for money. Their Révélation range has all of the bright, fresh fruit that we would expect from the modern Languedoc, but with an added elegance that lifts these wines above many of their peers.
