This classic blend offers aromas of berry, tobacco, chocolate and cassis. Medium-bodied and juicy, with the Cabernet providing freshness and lift, it shows a delightful balance and interplay between the two varieties.
The grapes come from various vineyards in the Valle Central, where alluvial soils predominate. Careful canopy management ensures that optimum sunlight reaches the fruit zone.
The grapes were crushed then macerated for two days at 10ºC before fermentation at 26-28ºC. There was a three-day post-ferment maceration, as well as subtle use of French oak.
