An easy drinking dry wine with vanilla notes and a spicy finish. Warm, earthy and mellow aromas with spice and ripe blackberry fruit with toasted wood in the background. Fruity and smooth.
Located in Yepes to the north of Toledo, this bodega was established in 2000 with the aim of producing wines which reflect the personality of the local terroir and microclimate through their unique character. The 100 hectares of vineyard are planted with Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, all chosen for their suitability for ageing and their well-defined character.
The vines are grown in the Caliza Franco Arenosa soils of Castilla de la Mancha located around the village of Yepes, in the province of Toledo. In the vineyard there is a high proportion of calcareous soil and the vines are trained using the Double Cordon Royat system and the pruning is carried out by hand.
The two varieties were vinified separately in order to retain the varietal characteristics. Traditional vinification took place and the wine was matured in barrels to achieve greater complexity.
