A Mob of Emus Cabernet Merlot 2021, Golden Grape Estate
Named after the collective name for some of Australia’s most famous inhabitants, this Australian red is rich, fruity, and well-balanced. Lifted aromas of forest berries with hints of oak, and a rich and full palate with sweet blackcurrant and hints of chocolate giving a velvety softness.
Produced from a unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Ruby Cabernet (a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignan), the later harvested grapes have benefited from an extra week’s sunshine, and the resulting wine is everything that is great about Australian reds.
