A delicious food-friendly wine, with a seductive orange colour, which harmoniously combines stone fruit flavours with a herbal complexity, subtle oxidative notes and a gentle tannic grip.
Niederösterreich is Austria’s largest quality-wine-growing area. There are eight specific wine-growing regions in Niederösterreich, stretching from the Wachau in the west to Carnuntum in the east. The early ripening Müller-Thurgau was harvested by hand.
After crushing, the grapes were fermented on their skins for three weeks in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Following fermentation the wine was pressed and kept reductively in stainless steel for a further seven months lees ageing. Finally, following a few days of controlled oxidation, the wine was bottled unfiltered.
